Moulin de Pattus

Check our gite availability here:

Le Moulin de Pattus is a beautiful 17th century stone watermill in the heart of the Gard countryside in the sunny South of France.

It lies on the Vidourle river nearest to the pretty village of Salinelles and 3km from the picturesque medieval town of Sommieres which is half an hour from the cities of Nimes and Montpellier - each with their own airport.

The sandy beaches of the Mediterranean are about 35 mins away. The mill has a fenced old style bassin swimming pool (7m x 11m,) it's own river beach with 2 kayaks (each for 2 adults and a child), games room (pool table, table tennis and other toys), mini football pitch, and an adventure playground for young children.

The area surrounding the mill is idyllic countryside - superb for peaceful walks, cycle riding (bikes provided), and fishing.

The mill has accommodation for up to 27 people split between three gites, so can be a lovely place to stay for a couple seeking peace and tranquility in a stunning location yet near to cafes, restaurants and thriving busy markets... or two or three families wanting a fun but safe environment which caters to all their needs.

Long stays available off season ask for rates.

Within 5 minutes walk, you can find 2 restaurants a bar / cafe and the post office in Salinelles. 5 minutes drive into Sommieres will take you to 2 supermarkets and lots of bars and restaurants and more or less everything else that you will need.
